Fight Hunger by Supporting ASC Ethiopia’s Efforts to Eradicate Devastating Locusts

Swarms of locusts have created a humanitarian crisis in northern Ethiopia with thousands of families struggling with food insecurity. Additionally, a twelve-fold increase in Covid-19 cases between June and September is further compounding needs as destitute families have been unable to obtain income or access food due to movement restrictions.

Some areas are recording severe acute malnutrition at 50 percent higher than for the same period last year. Ethiopia currently holds the highest Covid-19 caseload in East Africa, according to an International Rescue Committee report.
