Adama Traore

Ms. Traore is the Navigation to Care Coordinator at African Services providing health education and HIV prevention counseling, referral to testing and other services, and medical interpretation for immigrants through street and community contacts. She also conducts provides medical interpretation at the prenatal clinic at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital. Prior to joining African Services, she was a sales agent in a sightseeing company and a receptionist at the Touba Mbake Gallery. In Paris, Ms. Traore assisted West African immigrants with translation services and escort to medical appointments. She has a diploma in administrative assistance and bookkeeping from Belgium. Ms. Traore is originally from Mali and speaks Bambara, Mandingo, Malenke, French and English.
