Daouda Ndiaye

Mr. Ndiaye is an outreach worker providing HIV education and counseling, referral to testing and medical interpretation for immigrants through street and community contacts. Daouda first learned of African Services when he attended one of our prevention workshops in September 2000 and felt compelled to help spread the HIV prevention message in the African immigrant community. In his role, Daouda also provides medical interpretation to African patients at the pre-natal clinic at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital. He worked for over ten years as a financial manager on various USAID health and population projects in his home country of Senegal. Prior to joining USAID, Daouda worked for five years as a Supervisor/Assistant Manager at VIM. He holds an MA in technical management from the Technical University Institute of Dakar and a BA in technical management from Delafosse Institute-Dakar. Daouda speaks Wolof, Serere, French and some Spanish, in addition to English.
